Pauline Musters measured 30 cm (1 ft) at birth. At nine years of age, she was 55 cm (1 ft 9.5 in) tall and weighed only 1.5 kg (3 lb 5 oz). She died of pneumonia with meningitis, at the age of 19. A post mortem revealed her to be 61 cm (2 ft) tall - there was some elongation after death.
